The Hummingbird Tenor Acoustic/Electric Ukulele (tuned GCEA) is Epiphone first tenor Uke in over half a century and features the iconic ‘Hummingbird’ pickguard, acoustic guitar body style with a Solid Sitka Spruce Top plus a Piezo under-saddle pickup so you can play anywhere! Gig bag included.
Tenor Ukulele with Solid Sitka Spruce Top: Epiphone’s Hummingbird Tenor has the classic ‘Hummingbird’ style acoustic guitar body shape with white and black binding on the top, body, and fingerboard. The tortoise styled pickguard has an early 60s "Hummingbird" graphic design. The top is made from Solid Sitka Spruce, which will grow to become even richer sounding with age and playing time. The body and neck are made from Mahogany with a SlimTaper™ C-profile and the neck has a 17” scale length with 19 frets and a Granadillo fretboard. The reverse belly bridge is made from Granadillo. The Hummingbird Tenor is set up at the factory in standard GCEA tuning with a high G. The traditional Epiphone Sloped Dovewing headstock has both the Epiphone and classic “Pineapple” in lay in pearloid.
Plug In Anywhere! The Hummingbird Tenor can be plugged in to any PA or amp thanks to the under saddle Piezo Film pickup. The ¼” output jack is rim mounted.
